Trying not to die: Hell Week Day 1.

, ,

March 11 2013, signified the beginning of my hell week. Oh, how I wait for this day to come. Kidding! So we had our OSCE this Monday, I badly need to study all the skills that our CI’s taught us, but guess what? Because I’m so masipag, nagaral ako Sunday na, hahaha.  I studied my notes just a little, in a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest I’ll rate myself as 5. Hahaha. The OSCE finished past 12 and I am so hungry. But on the happy side, I think I passed 2 stations on the Exam, the Crutch walking and the Ear Instillation Station.

Later that afternoon we watched the Film “Mi Ultimo Adios” The last 3 Chapters of Rizal’s Life. It is a short film made by our classmates as a project requirement for our Rizal subject. Yey! They were exempted too to take the Final Exam, they got 93.2% just like us. :))

I need to study for our Oral Revalida tomorrow. 🙂

Once a month blog post.

, , , ,

Time flies really fast. Its March already, and in the past month wala akong nai-blog, not even one. Hahaha. That’s how busy my life is. Oh well. I will just post what happened during February. 🙂

Feb 11- We had our RLE duty after 2 months.

Feb 22- Competency based Seminar, one of the best seminars I’ve attended. The seminar was so fun. The speakers? They’re so awesome.

I’ve learned a lot from the speakers. They are the best speakers ever! They’re so funny yet so intelligent especially Sir Vanguardia and Ma’am Tere Vanguardia and also Sir Earl.

They tackled about the Nursing Board Exam this coming June and how the board questions were constructed. The June Boards this year is sooooooo early. As in early, talk about first week of June.

They said that questions were based on the 11 key areas of responsibilities and that 250 out of 500 questions are from Medical Surgical Concepts. The Level 4 students must be super nervous now. Hope that they will pass the NLE Boards though.

Hmm. So far, those are the highlights of February. :))

I wonder what March will bring to me. :))

Cheers to 2k13!

Hooray! here is my first post for 2013! I know it’s late but I want to greet each and everyone a happy new year!!

I honestly do not know how to start this post. But anyway, happy new year everyone! I’m hoping and wishing each and everyone to have a year-to-remember and awesome 2013! High hopes, sweethearts!

The past year was great! Despite of all the bad things happened, I still manage to smile and go on with my life. Thank you so much 2012! You have taught me a lot of things that I will surely remember as I go through my life’s journey. You’ve seen me trying my very best to stand up whenever I’m down. I am more mature now because of you. Yes, I must say that because me myself have felt that I became more mature. But still, 2012, YOU are amazing!

I would also like to thank each and everyone who have been there for me in the past year/s! To my family, friends, readers, followers, Thank you all so much for being part of my year 2012 and making it a special one for me! You guys are amazing! I hope we’ll get to know each other in the year 2013! Keep in touch guys! Much love! 🙂

Last but NEVER the least, I am so thankful to our Savior Lord Jesus Christ for giving me another year to live my life! I dont have much to say. I know He always listens to my prayers. Thank You for always guiding me and my loved ones. For making all of us safe. I know You will always be by our sides. Thank You!

Once again, happy new year to each and everyone!

Another year older

Sorry for the super late post. I turned 19 last November 16. My girlfriends surprised me with this Happy Birthday banner  and a cake. I so love the  cake! Take a look.

I love the dedication of he cake. “Happy Birthday Jeane Levine” (So sad my SURNAME was erased be cause we played with the icing. Haha) From Four (from the Divergent trilogy), Peeta Mellark (From The Hunger Games Trilogy). Did you know that they are my fictional boyfriends? Haha. As a matter of fact I have many fictional boyfriends, all of the books that I’ve read the leading man is always my boyfriend. Haha

Those are the gifts from my friends. An Insurgent book from Kuya. A doctor playset from Carla. A dwawing from Karmie. Chocolates form Kla. Facebook greeting from my friends, and love from my family. 🙂

I just happy to say that God blessed me greatly this year. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to celebrate my birthday in my earthly body with my family and friends. Thank you! 🙂

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Divergent is the first installment in a trilogy by the American author Veronica Roth.

I found the story so addictive, the characters so interesting and I was even completely won over by the intricate mysteries beneath this godawful stupid society that would never happen. I cared what happened to Beatrice and I cared whether her and Four would get it on and I cared what would happen if the factions went to war. I was hooked on this crap and I simply cannot deny it!

I think they should have just said it was a fantasy and it would have all been alright. I could forgive the stupid pretend world because in a fantasy pretty much anything goes.

I even liked the love story. Not that I don’t like love stories normally but I usually give any dystopia or science fiction a hard time for having to squeeze a romance in there to make the book complete. But I was there with it. I liked both characters, I wanted it to work out. It’s weird because Tris actually becomes increasingly hard and selfish as the novel moves on, but strangely that’s an important part of her coming to understand that you cannot live selflessly in a competitive world and that, though others matter, sometimes you do have to put yourself first. I really liked the changes and development of her character.

So there you have it! That is all I can say on Divergent. 🙂

Lets Reminisce

What keeps me busy this Sembreak

What’s keeping me busy this sembreak? Guess what? 🙂 BOOKS (ebooks)

Im currently reading the book series by Jenny Hann, The summer I turned Pretty.

I started reading the first book last night and now I’m halfway through it. 🙂

And these are other books that are waiting to be read. 🙂

  1. The Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling
  2. Can you keep a secret by sophie Kinsella
  3. Looking for Alaska by John Green
  4. Divergent and Insurgent Series by Veronica Roth
  5. Books by Nicholas Sparks

Hopefully by the end of my vacation I have finished all the books. These books are my buddy at night when I can’t sleep. 🙂

The Fault in our Stars (John Green)

My life is changed a lot— by books.

Anywoo, right now the book that is changing my life is ‘The Fault in Our Stars’. For the people who do not know Mr. John Green…you surely are missing out. This man can put together words and make magic with these complex sentences. Relating feelings and emotions back to things I would never think of. For example, relating the feeling of completely falling in love to sleep. Who else does that? Surely not me.

The fault in our stars is an amazing book. I laugh along with Hazel and Augustus banters. I cried miserably in the end, because it ended. That’s how wrapped up I get. The story breaks and heals my heart.

Here are some the lines in the book that I really like. 🙂

  •  “Life is not a wish granting factory”
  • “Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”
  • “As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep; slowly, then all at once.”

As I finished it, I pondered on certain things about life. One of those would be about how lucky I am that I was not in Hazel nor Gus’s position when I was on their age. I may say that although Green attacked the story in a very light way, the construction of each line was just simply as heavy as to how sepulchral it was; reading between the lines.

This novel had almost me crying while holding my phone if one of the main character’s eulogy were long enough to sustain that flash flood of emotions but then as I said, Green had his own style—-something that is not too emotional nor sensual but rather one that is just simply perfect in its own way.

TFIOS is just simply worthy of anyone’s time to read and reflect 🙂

Plan for the Semestral Break :)

Actually this is my plan for the Sem break:

Wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep, wake up, eat, internet, sleep. repeat until fade.

But sad to say, I have a 24 hour make up duty to accomplish. -___- So, sadly mababawasan ng 3 days ang 2 weeks vacation ko. Waaah. 😦
